The Food From Nordics concept in Export Unfold, offers to take your company and export prepared portfolio, out in the world. It is an agent concept, that opens markets through distributors or direct customer sales, but also long term manage your go to market approach, with us as managing the day to day commercial activities with your international customers.

Export Unfold has has direct access to more than 30 markets and network contact in another 20 markets all around the world. Should our potential customers wish for a specific market, not currently in our portfolio, and Export Unfold today have no access to this specific market, then we have the skill set, methods, experience and processes, for a high speed contact creation and access opportunity.

Customers





Our customers are in both ends of the commercial export value chain. We have the Nordic producing companies and their portfolios for global expansion in one end, and the local international market leading distributors and customers in the other. There are always a distributor/customer in a market who are right for your portfolio. Our job is to take your portfolio out in the world, and find the right passionate distributor for you, and secure that there are consumers in the market for your concepts and products.



Proces





If you and your company feel ready and have a clear international portfolio for export, there are 4 steps:

  1. A meeting where you outline your ideas and plans, we scope the export project, and get the expectations right (no costs)

  2. We outline the full go-to-market project including all activities from the beginning to planned actual sales (we deliver timeline and budget, gets your approval)

  3. The project starts

  4. The project ends when actual ordering begins, and day-to-day agent tasks takes over (goes from monthly retainer fee to commission, based on our performance)

We also evaluate the relationships, contacts, potential partners you may already have, to see if they fit to your export ambitions.

Focus

​Finding the right distributors in the right markets, contract dialogues and negotiations, the full commercial plan with the distributor covering everything from pricelists, consumer price dialogue, listing fees, contractual content, marketing plans and we follow up.

Terms





Based on our business terms and conditions, and a common, mutual understanding of the services in question, a precise monthly retainer fee is calculated. This monthly fee includes all services up until a distributor/partner is in place, and an agent commission agreement is signed. The monthly fee covers all costs like administration, meetings, travelling, accommodation, catering and all other direct costs associated with the project. It is of course possible to add tasks or make project expansions at additional payments. Running agent role and daily facilitation/support to the business, is based on an agreed commission level and contract commitments.


Many local, national and regional municipal funds (and state), business council funds, greenhouse support funds, are ready to contribute and invest financially to the development of your export opportunities. Feel free to contact us for advice and support.
